Soil compaction under the new slabs was required, so over excavation around the house and garage was done. 175 yards of new dirt were brought in to make up the difference during compaction and to fill in the pool that was removed during the demolition. Core samples were taken after every foot of soil was added back to ensure the greater than 95% compaction requirement was met. This work was contracted to Kinne Demolition and Earth Moving.
