The spoiler was complete and tested on August 22, 2010 which was the last local event before heading off to the solo nationals in Lincoln, NE. It was determined by videoing tell tails on the trunk that the air flow was better with the roof up.

The effect of this spoiler could be felt down to about 40 MPH and had to be removed for any kind of trip beyond an hour or two. Lots of highway drag.

For 2011 non OEM like aero devices were taken out of the rules, so the spoiler had to go. I drove with holes in the trunk lid for 2011 and in 2012 bought a used silver lid to replace it. Fortunately I found a buyer for both the spoiler and holy trunk lid. :)
